Don't be fooled by IRS refund scam

Thousands of authentic looking emails claim there's a problem with your IRS refund- but they're bogus.

It's a trick to get your banking information. If you get one, do not respond. Do not open the link. Just hit delete immediately.

Remember, any email asking you to click on a link to correct account errors with new information - is a scam. Period. The IRS never does that. In fact, no legitimate company or government agency ever sends unsolicited emails or calls you- with request to provide sensitive account information.
