Young boy suffers facial injuries in Everett dog attack

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - A police spokesman says a toddler has suffered facial injuries in a dog attack in south Everett.

Spokesman Aaron Snell said the attack was reported Friday afternoon. The little boy was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Snell says the dog didn't belong to the child's family. The Daily Herald reports it wasn't immediately clear where the dog went.

Snell says the injuries aren't believed to be life-threatening.
