Woodinville man back in national sheet metal competition

For the second year in a row, Jaymes Fleming is heading to Las Vegas for the International Sheet Metal Competition.

The Woodinville man is one of 12 finalists in the detailing section of the competition, which takes place from March 5-9. If he wins, Fleming would take home a new Harley-Davidson.

The detailing part of the competition concentrates on the "behind-the-wall" aspects of HVAC design and must fit to very exact measurements. It is the only part of the competition that journeyman sheet metal workers can take part in (the rest is for apprentices).

Fleming is the principal consultant for Rynotek, which is a part of Fleming Consulting Services. The company is also based in Woodinville.
