Woman may face felony charges after friend injured in DUI crash

OLYMPIA, Wash. -- A one-car roll-over collision left a 19-year-old woman injured and her 20-year old friend facing possible charges of felony vehicular assault early Saturday morning in Olympia.

The crash happened on southbound U.S. 101 at State Route 8, Trooper Guy Gill said.

Her passenger who is from Aberdeen, had "obvious injuries," and was transported to Harborview Medical Center, but they are not life threatening, Gill said.

The Centralia woman driving the Honda Accord is suspected of driving under the influence and had a suspended license, Gill said.

She was transported to St. Peter's Hospital in Olympia.
