Tacoma police arrest accused serial groper

TACOMA, Wash. -- Tacoma police believe they've nabbed a serial groper who attacked at least four women last week.

Four women came forward last week to say they had been sexually groped by a stranger, according to Loretta Cool with the Tacoma Police Department.

All four women described the man the same way, and police soon handed over the information to local law enforcement agents and school patrol officers.

On Friday morning, a patrol officer saw a man matching the description and held him until police arrived. When officers arrived, they say the man admitted to groping the women.

He was arrested on suspicion of simple assault and a past negligent driving charge and booked into Pierce County Jail.
