That's what Seattle Police had dubbed a thief that stole the wheelchair of a 4-year-old girl sometime early Saturday morning. But after flyers were pasted around the neighborhood and the story spread in the media, the chair was returned Monday.
The victim's mother had called officers Saturday morning after noting that someone had stolen her daughter's wheelchair from outside their home in the 1700 block of 13th Ave. S. She said the family had left it at the bottom of the stairs around 2 a.m. Saturday and awoke to find it gone.
The chair was built to the specific measurements of her daughter and the mother said she had no idea why someone would want to steal it. But on Monday, the mother received an anonymous call and found the chair had been dumped in her backyard.
