Crews responded to the scene at about 2:40 a.m. after receiving a report of flames and smoke at the house.
Firefighters found the couple outside the home when they arrived. They were taken to Providence Hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation as crews battled the flames.
Marysville fire officials said the home was heavily damaged in the blaze, which apparently began on the back side of the house. The fire also gutted the garage, along with the car inside.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The Arlington and Savannah fire departments also responded to the blaze.
