Police searching Woodinville for man who nearly rammed deputy's car

WOODINVILLE, Wash. -- King County Sheriff's deputies are using police dogs and a search helicopter to look for a burglary suspect who ran away from police during a traffic stop.

A deputy tried to pull over a suspicious car near 188th and 132nd when the car took off, said Sgt. Cindi West with the King County Sheriff's Office. The deputy went after the man but then the man tried to ram the deputy's car, West said. The deputy wasn't hurt.

Meanwhile the man ran away on foot and the search ensued. School officials at nearby Woodinville High School have put the school in lockdown as a precautionary measure.
