Police searching for gunman after 2 shot in West Seattle

SEATTLE -- Two people were shot at a West Seattle home Tuesday evening and police are still searching for the shooter.

The victims were at a home in the 9200 block of 16th Ave. SW around 11 p.m. when a fight broke out and shots rang out.

A man in his 40s was shot twice in the torso and was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. A 33-year-old woman who lived at the home was shot in the hand and was also taken to Harborview.

Police are still searching for the shooters but do not have any information yet on their suspects.

Seattle police homicide and gang unit detectives are investigating the scene.
