Police looking for man accused of robbing U-District convenience store

SEATTLE-- Police are looking for a man accused of robbing a Plaid Pantry clerk at gunpoint early Sunday morning in U-District, Seattle Police said.

The man was wearing a red baseball cap with black bill, a black sweatshirt with gray writing on it, and dark pants.

Armed with a handgun, he left the store with an undlsclosed amount of cash.

Officers responded to the alleged robbery at 12:42 a.m. in the 1000 block of N.E. 50th St.

Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information about the suspect to call 911.
