Police looking for attacker after fatal Bellingham assault

      BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- A Sunday night assault at a Bellingham hotel left one man dead, and now police are asking for help to track down the accused killer.

      Police say 33-year old Ike Scarborough was attacked Sunday at the Aloha Motel, located in the 300 block of Samish Way. Scarborough, a Bellingham resident, was pronounced dead on Monday.

      Details about the assault are sketchy, but police believe 34-year-old David Alan Solomon Jr. was the attacker. Solomon is described as a Native American man who stands 5'8" tall and weighs 187 pounds.

      Police say he may be driving a black 2009 Pontiac Torrent with Washington license plate B54591H.

      Anyone with information about Solomon's whereabouts is asked to call the police immediately.
