Occupy Valentine's Day wants to bring down couple-talism

The Occupy movement encouraged thousands of people to rise up against the greed of the infamous 1 percent. Now, singles everywhere have spoken out against the most romantic holiday of the year.

Occupy Valentine's Day, a website created by two single-and-proud friends, was launched to give a voice to single people and non-traditional romantics out there who could care less about hearts, chocolates and cupid.

"Celebrating love and romance is a wonderful thing, but it shouldn't depend on buying certain products for the perfect experience (hello, romantic industrial complex) or on your gender, sexuality, race, class status or marital status," says the site.

Check it out and let us know what you think about this movement.
