Music kicks off Susan Komen Race for the Cure Campaign
The Ken Derouchie band performed at the Hard Rock Cafe in Seattle at the official kick off of this year's race for the cure campaign.
Derouchie wrote a song called This Too Shall Pass for a friend stricken with breast cancer.
LaRhonda Steele is a vocalist in the band and is doing well.
Their donated performance on February 13th highlights the good works Komen does.
Listen to the story and hear the song.
This year's race for the cure starts at Seattle Center on June 1st.
It includes a 5k Run, 1 Mile Walk, Kid's Race & Survivor Celebration.
