Motorhome catches fire on Highway 2 in Everett

EVERETT, Wash. -- Washington State Patrol troopers are trying to find out what caused a motorhome to burst into flames Tuesday evening on Highway 2 in Everett.

The vehicle caught fire sometime before 8 p.m. on the westbound ramp to I-5.

Troopers say nobody was inside the 31-foot motorhome when firefighters arrived on scene, and nobody was hurt.

Investigators aren't sure who owns the vehicle, but they learned it was a 1976 model that was registered in Lake Stevens.
