Man shot during argument outside Everett 7-Eleven store

EVERETT, Wash. - A man was shot during an argument outside a 7-Eleven store late Monday in Everett, police said.

The incident began at about 10:30 p.m. when two men who apparently did not know each other got into a verbal confrontation outside the 7-Eleven at 711 112th St. SE in Everett, said Aaron Snell of the Everett police.

One of the men pulled out a gun and fired several rounds, hitting the other man. The shooter then fled the scene on foot with a third man.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police responded to the scene with a K-9 police dog, but were not able to track down the shooter.

The suspect is described as a black man about 19 or 20 years old with a green hat and black jacket.

Police say they may the shooting may have been captured on the store's surveillance video camera, which could help identify the shooter.
