Man critically wounded in shooting at old Rainier Brewery building

SEATTLE - Police are looking for a man who shot and critically wounded a man Sunday night at the old Rainier Brewery building in Seattle, which has been converted to other uses, including apartments.

Police were called to a 6th floor apartment in the building in the 3100 block of Airport Way South at 9:43 p.m., Seattle police said. Upon arrival, the found a man who had been shot several times. He was rushed to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, officials said.

The only information the officers were able to obtain about the incident was that the gunman ran off after the shooting and he might have had a woman with him.

SWAT officers and police dogs searched the area for the pair but came up empty. Their investigation continues.
