The West Seattle Rotary Club and South Seattle Community College are hosting a job resource fair focusing on employment opportunities in King County on Saturday, Nov. 3.
Representatives from the Washington State Employment Security Department, YWCAWorks, Seattle Jobs Initiative, WorkForce, WorkSource, Veteran's Offices in Seattle Community Colleges, Vet Corps, Veterans' Employment, Worker Retraining offices, Dept. of Labor & Industries, SSCC Georgetown Campus, Manufacturing Industrial Council, Costco and others will be at the event.
The goal of the event is to connect job seekers who want to define their employment skills and upgrade their job choices with employees who are seeking qualified workers in the greater Seattle area, Information and resources for job seekers on how they can upgrade their skills and train for these jobs while also be featured.
Panels will discuss employment opportunities in health occupations, manufacturing, business technology, union apprenticeships, and Veteran's educational benefits.
The event is free and adults over 40 and Veterans are encouraged to attend.
