Local family selected to compete in PSE home design contest

Puget Sound Energy recently announced a Shoreline family is one of six finalists to compete in a reality show contest for a shot at winning $5,000 in prize money.

The Grafstein family was selected for the contest through their video/photo entry, public vote, and final interview.

The contest, 'Re-Energize by Design', pits each of the six families against one another in a series of room makeover challenges with the goal to "combine elegant home design with energy-efficient products."

Film crews will document the Grafstein's work and design ideas for the online show which is scheduled to start in March.

Below is more about the Grafstein family and how PSE says they stack up against the competition:

"The Grafstein family of Shoreline ("The Blank Slate.")
The Grafstein family's home screams potential. Mitch and Stephanie recently moved into a new home that is the perfect playground for experimentation with color and lighting. Stephanie's history running women's clothing boutique means she knows style when she sees it."
