Born in Everett, Washington, local musician Loggins spent his early years performing with bands along the California coast prior to signing with ABC-Dunhill.
Together with Jim Messina, the pair gained all-star popularity during the 70s. After the duo separated The Best of Friends album was released.
After perfecting his soft rock vibe, Loggins again was in the in spotlight for his performances in movie sound tracks. "For the First Time," hit number 1 on the Billboard AC chart, an Oscar-nominated song from the film One Fine Day.
Almost 30 years later, Loggins opted to reinvent himself with long-time friend Gary Burr and Burr's then-fiance Georgia Middleman to make up the Blue Sky Riders.
The trio played hits to a sold out crowd: House of Pooh Corner, Footloose, Conviction of the Heart, Danger Zone, Danny's song were all enjoyed by fans.
