But it's also one where you can increase the odds of survival.

Corporal Brent Dell is a water survival instructor who teaches cadet's how to rescue a victim, and how to escape if it happens to them.

Dell placed KOMO reporter Mark Miller in a submerged vehicle to show how having a plan and keeping your cool can mean the difference between life and death.
