Detectives identify suspect in Burien shooting

BURIEN, Wash. -- Deputies are trying to track down a homeless 26-year old who's wanted in connection with a Thursday shooting in Burien.

Linley A. Valdez is accused of shooting an 18-year-old Burien man in the stomach Thursday evening after the two men got into an argument about electronics.

The victim, who was treated for his injury and released, told detectives he had agreed to meet Valdez to discuss some type of deal involving electronics.

During the meeting outside of the victim's apartment, Valdez allegedly pulled out a handgun and shot the teen.

Valdez is described as a Hispanic/Asian man who stands 5'10" tall and weighs roughly 165 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and has distinctive tattoos on the left side of his neck and a cross tattooed on upper right arm.

Deputies say he's a skilled martial artist and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about Valdez is asked to call 911 or the King County Sheriff's Office at (206) 296-3311.
