Congressman honors Park Ranger on House Floor

Congressman Dave Reichert honored Park Ranger Margaret Anderson on the House Floor Yesterday. She was murdered by a man with a gun in Mt. Rainier National Park. Reichert's bill calling for a post office in Eatonville to be named for Anderson passed the House yesterday.

Some Congressional bi-partisanship...with Democratic Congressman Adam Smith...and Republican Dave Reichert....introducing the Department of Justice Global Advisory Committee Authorization Act...which aims to improve information sharing between all local, state, and federal law enforcement across the country. Reichert says the bill was introduced today...on the anniversary of the murder of four Lakewood police officers...because the man responsible for the killings was let out on parole..partially because of a lack of communication between police agencies.
