Bridal party injured in Kirkland head-on crash

KIRKLAND, Wash. - Six people were hurt in a violent two-car crash on Juanita Drive in Kirkland Saturday evening.

Police say five women in a bridal party were driving north along Juanita Drive around 6 p.m when another car slammed head-on into their car.

According to reports, the woman driving southbound on Juanita Drive crossed the center line, and caused the crash.

The woman was ejected from her vehicle, and was taken to Harborview with a possible brain injury. Police say she is expected to survive.

The members of the bridal party are being treated for possible broken bones, and non-life threatening injuries.

The crash is being investigated by police as a possible DUI.
