Bonney Lake man arrested in connection with December murder

A 44-year-old Bonney Lake man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a Marysville man on December 1.

Snohomish County Sheriff's Office spokesman Kevin Prentiss said that Jonathan Frohs was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on Tuesday night. He was booked for 2nd degree murder, kidnapping, assault, robbery and burglary in connection with the death of Pat Buckmaster. His body was found near Granite Falls on January 3 after he disappeared from his home, on Meridian Road in the Tulalip Indian Reservation, on December 1.

Frohs' arrest is the latest made from the December incident. So far, seven people have been arrested in connection with Buckmaster's murder and the connected robbery and burglary at the Meridian Avenue residence.
