Bicyclist injured in hit-and-run crash near Renton

RENTON, Wash. - A bicyclist was struck and injured Monday morning by a hit-and-run driver in the May Valley near Renton, authorities said.

Medics and deputies responded to the scene, in the 17200 block of SE 112th Street in Renton, at about 8:15 a.m. after receiving a report of an injured bicyclist.

The man was found bleeding in the ditch. He was treated at the scene and then taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Deputies are now interviewing residents who live along the rural, dead-end road in hopes of finding someone who can shed light on who might have struck the bicyclist.
