Bothell police detectives said they watched the man's house, in the 20300 block of 124th Avenue NE, early Friday morning and arrested him as he drove away around 8 a.m.
The man was not identified, but police said he owns an adult family home in the 21100 block of 46th Avenue SE in Snohomish County.
Search warrants were served at his own home and also at the adult family home.
The suspect in the robberies had been dubbed the "Tour de Banks" robber because of his practice of making his getaway on a bicycle.
The arrest was the result of an extensive collaborative effort between the King County Sheriff's Office, the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and detectives from Bothell, Monroe, Arlington, and Mill Creek Police departments, said King County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Sgt. Cindi West.
