Ben & Jerry's unveils its (still nameless) Seattle flavor

For months, Ben & Jerry's has been asking Seattleites to vote on which locally-based ingredients -- think Theo chocolate and Caffe Vita coffee -- would make the most fitting flavor for the Emerald City. Now, the votes have been tallied and the cream has been churned... but the as-of-yet-unnamed combination still won't be available in stores.

Seattle was one of a handful of cities selected for the campaign.

The Seattle-themed product, which Seattle Magazine was given the first chance to taste, is a vanilla ice cream that features caramel and coffee-infused chocolate pieces, raspberries, and brownie chunks.

However, don't expect to see it in your grocer's freezer -- the product is just promotional, and will only be available at the Theo Chocolate in Fremont tomorrow, or on Third Avenue on Saturday at a community-building event, which will benefit the Morrison, a homeless shelter.

Jerry himself is reportedly going to be onsite dishing out complimentary scoops of the sweet treat.
