Labor Day weekend has a way of filling up quickly, which means you may not always have time to see all of the artists playing at Bumbershoot. Online music and news provider TuneIn has the solution: A live stream of the performances as they happen.
As part of the debut of the streaming service's Live Music channel, they'll be broadcasting three major musical events this year, including Bumbershoot, which will be taking over Seattle Center at the end of August. With acts that includes fun., Death Cab for Cutie, Kendrick Lamar, MGMT, Heart, Matt and Kim, Tegan and Sara, fans can skip the crush of the crowds and opt instead to stream the performances.
This is also a great option for those who may not be able to make it to the cities where their favorite bands perform, says TuneIn CEO John Donham
"These...partnerships are prime examples of the huge strides TuneIn is taking to make live music and events available to everyone, no matter where they are."
In addition to live performances, TuneIn will also be streaming interviews and teaser tracks from the artists.
