In a statement, David Miller, the acting U.S. marshal for Western Washington, said 65-year-old Salvador Vasquez-Vasquez was arrested Monday in the Seattle suburb of Kent. Deputy marshals had learned he had a new identity and was hiding with family members. He was arrested as he left his residence.
The marshals service says Vasquez-Vasquez has been a fugitive since 2003 after he was indicted in a multi-defendant case for possession of and conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
The statement says Vasquez-Vasquez is the last remaining defendant to be captured.
