6 passengers hurt as Metro bus brakes to avoid accident

SEATTLE -- Six passengers on a Metro Rapid Ride bus suffered minor injuries after their bus braked hard to avoid a collision, officials said.

Metro says the incident occurred just after 4 p.m. near 15th Ave. West and West Wheeler Street in Interbay. Seattle Fire medics evaluated eight people on board and determined six should be taken to a hospital to be checked out.
