4 arrested following lengthy prostitution investigation

SEATTLE -- A lengthy prostitution investigation that spanned several local cities ended Thursday night with the arrest of three woman and a man, according to police.

The sting, which involved detectives from the King County sheriff's office and the Burien and SeaTac Police Departments, targeted three businesses and two homes.

On Thursday night, police served search warrants at Seatac's Royal Orchid Massage and Adam and Eve Hair Styling, as well as at Zen Remedy Massage in Buren. They also searched a house in Kent and an apartment in SeaTac.

All three businesses were fronts for prostitution and money laundering, according to police.

After serving the warrants, officers seized three vehicles and a small amount of cash. They also arrested three woman for suspicion of prostitution, money laundering, conspiracy and leading organized crime.

A man, who police say is a convicted felon, was booked into jail on suspicion of violating the uniformed firearms act.
