$20 million expansion, hotel planned for Arlington casino
ARLINGTON, Wash. - Visitors will soon have a place to crash after the Angel of the Winds Casino undergoes a multi-million dollar expansion project that includes a five-story hotel.
The Stillaguamish Tribe says crews will break ground on the 125-room hotel this week.
The $20 million project will also include a new gift shop, smoke shop and renovated main entrance.
The hotel will add more than 100,000 square feet to the casino property and is expected to open in the winter or spring of 2015.
A ground breaking ceremony is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 25.
